Featured Chosen Covergirl- Jadine Louissaint

What does it mean to be confident?

Confidence is knowing who you are and being unapologetic about your worth! Confidence is having identity in Jesus Christ and knowing that He’s intentional with His purpose over my life. So that means I’m ok with staying in my lane and being about my Father’s business.

What comes to mind when you think of the word “joy”?

It’s one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit and afforded to the children of God. It’s a mindset of gratefulness despite someone’s circumstances.

Can you identify the time in your life when you began to totally accept yourself and all of your flaws?

Believe it or not, it took me 32 years to accept me holistically. In 2015 as I transitioned into the Spirit-filled life, I started to appreciate how God saw me and it was frightening and exciting at the same time. I no longer care what folks thought of me as I realized that I was and will continue to be His masterpiece.

What do you admire most about yourself?

My resilience and the ability to push through tests and trials. I wouldn’t be the woman that I am today if I couldn’t handle the pressures and failures of life.

Fill in the blank: I am… adequately wonderful!

How has your faith contributed to who you are today?

Glory! My faith in the Lord, has humbled me to understand my life is not my own and I was created to help others heal and be set free. In 2015 when the Lord “interrupted” my life it was ugly to know what I allow myself to become, just for the sake of pleasing everyone else but God. I’m grateful for His grace and redemption over my life as He delivered me out a demonic covenant I made by joining a sorority. As He began His good works in me, He would allow me to have a boldness for His truth revealed in His word. This has opened the door for me be a servant, transformational enthusiast, speaker, author, curator, mentor, t-shirt line creator, and founder of TransforME Ayiti a 501c3 nonprofit that’s impacting young women lives locally and abroad in Haiti.

What would you tell your younger self or someone who has yet to discover her worth?

Eat. Pray. Slay!

Eat on the 8000 promises (Bible) of Jesus Christ. Pray that He gives you understanding of His truth over your life. Slay by completing His purpose without excuses.

If you could identify a celebrity who you believe exemplifies a Chosen Covergirl, who would that be and why?

Queen Esther from the bible. She was graceful and wise. She used her wisdom, position and opportunity to save a nation.
