Featured Chosen Covergirl- Julie Edgar

Can you identify the time in your life when you began to totally accept yourself and all of your flaws?

I’ve been a Christian over 30 years, but it wasn’t until 2010 when the process began to shift for me. Things that needed to be exposed and dealt with began to be then and I’m still in process to reflect the image of God vs the old man of the flesh.

What comes to mind when you think of the word “joy”?

Joy is fruit from the Holy Spirit. Happiness is fleeting, but you can have joy in every situation and season.

What does it mean to be confident?

I believe we can be confident when we are walking in our purpose knowing God has our back.

What do you admire most about yourself?

My tenacity especially in prayer for others.

Fill in the blank: I am…. an encourager.

How has your faith contributed to who you are today?

Without Jesus I am nothing. With Jesus I am who God created me to be.

What would you tell your younger self or someone who has yet to discover her worth?

Press in to know the Lord and your world will change. You’ll find what’s truly important in life – the eternal things.

If you could identify a celebrity who you believe exemplifies a Chosen Covergirl, who would that be and why?

Tanya Chishom Engel. Tanya is a FL girl and I’ve known her since she was a child. She has weathered many storms and consistently overcome them all. She patiently waited for Mr. Right and God has blessed her with an amazing husband and life partner. She is an actress in Hollywood and is a shining light in an industry that needs Jesus represented well.
